Attorneys rate Masters low in statewide poll

A statewide poll by the Illinois State Bar Association gives Joliet Judge Ed ward F. Masters a 50 percent overall rating, with strong marks for court management and health but lower scores for integrity and impartiality. Ritualized Cat Death at Crete Church Discovered

A black cat with severed head was found before the First Baptist Church in Crete Township on Crete Monee Road. A pentagram and two inverted crosses were scratched on the doors, reportedly in the cat’s blood. Police also found a bloodlike substance on a nearby telephone junction box.
