Dietetic intern Joy Mattson wins Mary Keith Vaughn scholarship
Joy Mattson, an Ingalls Hospital dietetic intern, is the first recipient of the Mary Keith Vaughn Scholarship, a $1,000 award by the South Suburban Dietetic Association of Cook Will County. She plans a masters in addictions counseling to bolster skills in treating eating disorders. Mattson is a 23 year Ingalls veteran and former association president who completed her bachelor’s at the University of Illinois and the Ingalls Dietetic Internship.
