New Park Forest Village Manager Janet Muchnik Welcomed

Park Forest Kiwanis thank 5000 for Pancake Day turnout

On September 24 the Park Forest Kiwanis Club hosted its 43rd Pancake Day drawing more than 5,000 residents and supporters. Profits will aid children and community projects with help from Sears Roebuck and Co., Park Forest village, Rich East High School, Jones Intercable, Biddle Inc., Petrolane Gas Service, and the Star. Volunteers from Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Forest Trail Builders Club, Key Club, and Circle K assisted, while 50 Kiwanis members did outreach and tent work to ensure success.
