Stolen Homewood car recovered after chase in Midlothian
A Homewood police report states a stolen car from 2300 block of Maple was recovered in Midlothian on Tuesday after an officer tried to stop the suspect. The vehicle, found on Pulaski Avenue, contained a suitcase a television and a gym bag. A separate robbery at Wilder's Square 17620 Halsted St involved a 35 year old Black man who brandished a gun demanded cash after attempting to pay with a counterfeit $100 bill. Police reported multiple other thefts and arrests including drug and disorderly conduct charges across Chicago Heights Sauk Village Matteson and surrounding areas.
