Stoecker gets 74 year? 90 months sentence for bank fraud
William Stoecker, once a suburban businessman, is sentenced to 90 months in federal prison and ordered to pay 115 million in restitution for leading a wide bank fraud scheme that involved falsified records and multi pledged loans across Grabill Corp and about 30 shell companies. Prosecutors say at the peak his empire claimed 5,000 employees in 28 states and 750 million in assets, with banks fooled by a luxurious lifestyle and forged documents.
