Mahaffeys Win $3.6 Million Lotto Prize in Illinois

Norma and Findley Mahaffey, both laid off from work, won the Illinois Lottery Lotto prize of $3.6 million. They plan to use the first yearly payment of about $180,484 before taxes to fund a new home, car, and trips while continuing to help others. The couple, 45 and 20-year veteran crane operator, say the win puts them in a dream world and allows them to plan for their two daughters and long-term dreams.
