Lansing police seize $5.5 million in cash from drug bust
Four men, ages 25 to 36, were arrested in the Lansing motel seizure in which about $5.5 million in cash wrapped in duct tape was found in a van used by suspected narcotics dealers. The money, found by K nine units, is the largest cash seizure in Cook County history and will be split among agencies if awarded.
