Police seize reputed drug gang house in Matteson

Federal marshals with local police raided 806 School St in Matteson Wednesday after 9 am, seizing a reportedly drug and gang center. The empty house had furniture removed and the door unlocked. Deputies said the seizure was under a federal warrant and notice of forfeiture would be served to the owner. A locksmith changed the locks as a real estate agent began proceedings.
