Weller Wins GOP Primary in Narrow Victory in 11th District

Giglio Wins Democratic Primary for 11th District Seat

State Rep. Frank Giglio clinched the Democratic nomination with about 8,200 votes, besting Clem Balanoff by 500 as he vows to face Republican Gerald Weller in November. Giglio credited a strong base and field workers, noting Thorn Township gave him his largest edge with 5,070 votes.
