Odyssey Fun World opening delayed in Tinley Park
Odyssey Fun World in Tinley Park pushes its planned opening to the end of June with a grand opening planned for July. 80 percent of the main building is complete, up from 50 percent last month, and 75 to 100 new hires have been offered positions. The $7 million complex will combine high tech virtual reality games with mini golf and features an animatronic hall inspired by Disney. Plans include laser tag, a large Exploration Station, three go cart tracks, and a motorboat race course on an artificial island, targeting visitors within 35 miles initially and expanding to 50 miles after Interstate 355 is built.
