Abortion Protesters Ring Christ Hospital Site
About 30 abortion opponents stood in the snow for two hours outside High Tech Medical Park in Palos Heights near Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn to protest policies. Organizers Pro-Life Action League of Chicago and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society of Joliet pressed for Dr. Steven Ambrose to stop abortions. Hospital officials stressed the facility is diagnostic and not involved in pregnancy terminations, while Advocate Health Care Network restricted abortions for fetuses with abnormalities across its system. Protesters vow ongoing demonstrations until all abortions cease.
