Man charged after handgun firing in Richton Park dispute
Richton Park resident Karl Robinson aged 25 was charged with felony aggravated assault for firing three shots at Dale Longshore 26 in a neighborhood dispute after a noise clash outside Robinson’s building. Longshore received a head wound from a bat blow and was hospitalized. Police continue to pursue the bat attacker.

Crete Father Delivers Twins At Home In Calm Birth
Scott Moore delivered daughter Sarah Elizabeth at 4:30 AM on August 2 at their Crete home using knowledge from a civil defense birth film. Paramedics arrived after 15 minutes to help deliver twin son Adam Scott. Both twins, weighing 5 pounds 1 ounce and 5 pounds 10 ounces, were healthy and later released with Ruby Ann and Scott celebrating their seventh anniversary and Scott's birthday. Timothy, their 3 year old, slept through it all.
