Tribute to Allen Schindler’s Mother at Washington March
Dorothay Hargus, mother of slain sailor Allen Schindler of Chicago Heights, addressed the Human Rights Campaign Fund and joined a gay rights march of about 300,000. She spoke at a Pentagon rally during a three day Washington D C visit, with activists like Michael Petrelis nearby and participants from Virginia and south suburban Chicago joining a moment of silence for Schindler.
