New Road for Fluvanna Planned From Lindsay to Palmyra
The Franklin Trust Company of New York records a 900000 mortgage on the Virginia Air Line Railway in Fluvanna County. The line runs about thirty miles from Lindsay on the Chesapeake and Ohio system to upper Bremo on the James River division. Nine or ten contractors are at work, the roadbed from Lindsay to Palmyra is nearly complete, track laying will begin soon, and trains may reach Palmyra from the north by December 1.
