Three Drowned In Harbor Collision At Cuttyhun
In New Bupromo Mass on Oct 17 during Sunday storms the fishing schooners Quilp and Nanvie collided in Cuttyhun harbor and the Neavie Bank. The Quilp crew escaped aboard but when they attempted to reach shore their small boat capsized and Capt. John Vlanders Arthur Borden and Samuel Peckhim drowned. The Nanvie crew were rescued by the humane society crew.
