Eight students stage kindness play for local schools

A group of eight students from eighth to senior year performed a 40 minute adaptation of The Golden Goose at Whittier and Gorrell Elementary Schools and at Franklin Elementary last week. The production features a crying prince and a servant girl named Daffodil learning kindness through a wizard's spell. Participant Nate Santucci said the project leaves a positive impact before college. The play was updated from a nearly 50 year old script by Lee Larvey with directors Julie Dewald and others involved.
