Mrs. Carrie Bayliss Dead in Massillon after illness
Mrs. Carrie Z. Bayliss widow of E. B. Bayliss died at 1 10 Friday afternoon at 83 South Mill Street after a two week illness from pneumonia. Her daughter Lyda Bayliss of Des Moines Iowa arrived to be at her bedside and her son Walter Bayliss of Massillon also survives. The death shocks many in the Massillon community where she was a well known resident.

John Wiegand a 23 year old molder at Massillon Iron and Steel Company was trapped beneath a heavy iron flask while molding a pipe.
