Authoritative Cleveland report says the Wheeling and Lake Erie railroad will move its headquarters from Toledo to Cleveland after a Blair backed agreement with the B and O is deemed temporary. The W and LE plans to build into Cleveland along its own tracks, transferring Valley road traffic to Valley Junction. coal traffic favors Valley road. A G Blair, Commercial Freight Agent, is the sole W&LE representative in Cleveland with officials expected to relocate from Toledo.

Lavish Garden Party By Evans Ends In Rainy Aftermath

A damp Massillon garden party at Justus hosted by Mr and Mrs Evan J Evans raised funds for the Mansilion Woman's Cemetery Association. About a hundred guests traveled by hay wagon and carriage to the 25 room residence with art filled rooms and a barn converted for dancing. A midnight shower forced two hay wagon parties to endure a wet return as guests slept indoors with blankets provided.
