Reports mention a street commissioner race candidate Dan Kitchen withdrawing and Mrs Martins funeral, plus a mirage sighting in North Erie street and brick industry growth in Waynesburg and Barberton area.
Nick Clapper of Wooster Creek is positively identified by Officer Ertle as Moran accomplice in the Moran burglary and Hagan shooting. Brownsberger and a stable employee corroborate Clapper’s presence in Massillon May 6 7. He was bound over to the court of common pleas in $1 000 bail, with a continued appearance mandated.
Mrs. Gainey of Youngstown Hill narrowly escaped death when a train struck the rear of her spring wagon at the M. and C. crossing near Earle's mill. She got the horse clear but was thrown from the wagon with only slight bruises and scratches.
The Normandie in Cleveland was sold to J. B. Coxey of Massillon. Hannan and Frawley kept the large interest. H. O. Price retains about one fourth and stays on as manager. Coxey, busy with his grindstone and glass sand business, also operates a trotting horse farm in Dixieana, Kentucky.

The panel will not finish the rate comparison until next Monday night and will likely have Lynch assist upon his arrival.
