A letter from De Witt’s Liver Pills advocate Link Sector in Davin Crry Nebraska April 1 1900 lauds Grain-O as healthier than coffee after his brother’s illness. The note also cites Chas W Cupples and retailer Rider Snyder in Tremont Street and Manin Street as endorsing De Witt’s Little Early Risers.
Miss Annie Early Wheeler, second daughter of General Joseph Wheeler, long involved with nurse work in the Cuban and Philippine campaigns, is slowly recovering from a severe appendicitis attack at a sanitarium in New York City.
James Sterrett former chief to the supreme court of Pennsylvania died at his Philadelphia home last night aged 78. Death attributed mainly to complications from a carbuncle.
The house sent Cramp & Sons claims totaling over 1.3 million dollars to the court of claims for alleged damages from government delays in furnishing armor plate and other materials for the New York, Columbia, Massachusetts and Indiana. The DC appropriation bill advanced with it. A concurrent resolution to assemble both houses on February 13 at 1 PM to count the presidential and vice presidential votes was favorably reported and adopted, with the Senate president presiding and delivering results to both houses.
