Mr Fischer Accident Leaves Him Unconscious on Icy Path
Anthony Fischer of 428 Hunt Road, an engineer at the state hospital grounds, slipped on an icy path at 6 am Friday and lay alone unconscious for half an hour. He suffered pain, could not walk, and, despite suspected leg injury, refused a doctor. He was aided to a street car, taken to Emil Lux's grocery, then home by carriage.

Local Oil Venture Hears Scotches by Bluffton Leader
W A Silvers of Bluffton Ind president of the Massillon Oil and Gas Company announced incorporation with several owners and a capital stock. Tow Boat Explosion Near Glenfield Pa Claims Crew
The tow boat Percy Keley exploded near Glenfield Pennsylvania while hauling coal to Cincinnati. Captain Jones and three crew members survived badly injured, nine others are feared dead as the hull sank and wreckage drifted. The vessel owned by W Brown's Sons was valued at $25 000 and nine crew plus deck hands were aboard. An advance of ten cents per ton was also decided by the Ohio miners' convention for next year's contract.
