James Miller was discharged and John Reese released. Thomas Miller was held to probate court in a $50 bond.
Mr. J W McClymonds resigns as a board of trustees member linked to the proposed improvement bond bill. He says personal reasons prevent serving while remaining supportive of the movement and ready to aid and encourage efforts.

The group announces an installation ceremony tonight and asks all members to attend. J. W. Carnes serves as President and will preside over the event.

Fort Wayne railroad plans end Alliance as a layover next spring. Trains will run through to Crestline 189 miles from Allegheny during a test to move air freight over the Ohio connecting bridge. Conway will become eastern terminus. about 70 crews to Crestline, with no layoffs, and trips drop from thirty five to about twenty between Allegheny and Crestline.
In Cleveland on January 8 the MacQueary trial resumed with Rev. Mr. MacQueary defending his book’s positions. Dr. Bates for the prosecution urged conviction. MacQueary pledged to preach his beliefs regardless of verdict as the arguments closed and the court reserved ruling for two to three weeks amid extensive testimony.
