The will of David B. Davis of York township was probated Saturday. Dated March 15, 1999, it names Jane Davis as life tenant of all real estate and personal property. After her death, remaining assets go to Archie Wade's four children equally. Archie Wade died in Columbus State hospital about two years ago. Fay Holloway is named executor. The estate comprises 150 acres, chattels, and about $20,000 in value.

Wm. Gibson a Free Man in Chicken Theft Case
The indictment against Wm. Gibson of Washington township for concealing stolen chickens was heard in common pleas court. Gibson paid about $100 costs, was discharged on prosecuting attorney’s recommendation, after a trial over a year ago ended without a verdict. His 70s Civil War veteran status is noted.
