City to repeal ordinance after appeal over fine
Justice Garrard fined Battenburg ten dollars plus costs which he refused to pay as his lawyers prepared an appeal. Citing prior similar cases from Plain City Hamilton and elsewhere the board member Dunham argued the city cannot bear further costs. Section four of the ordinance will be repealed.

Harry L. Clark former commanding officer of Company K who disappeared from his Delaware home was found in Columbus at the Northern hotel. A probate court declared him insane and he was sent to Columbus State Hospital. Clark was a well known Delaware businessman with ties to Marysville veterans.

E. church in Marysville with Dr. Joseph Clark of Columbus, secretary of the State Sunday School Association, present and delivering talks in afternoon and evening sessions. Teacher Seriously Injured In Peoria Street Assault
Peoria school teacher Lloyd Blake suffers serious injuries after being attacked on a street last Wednesday by Charles M. Wills, who attacked over punishment of Will's son. Blake may not resume duties until after holidays due to wounds reaching the skull. Grand jury in Marysville will review the case. no arrest warrant for Wills yet.
