Mrs. Frank B. Montgomery Dies After Four Years Illness
Mrs. Frank B. Montgomery died Thursday at 4 PM at her home at Seventh and Maple after a four year battle with softening of the brain. Born August 6 1862 in Nobie county Ohio she was 74 years 8 months and 14 days. She came to Union county as a child and resided there ever since. She married Frank B. Montgomery in 1879 and left four children Josie Liggett Columbus Charles Edward George Lemue and Mrs Edward Randall Marysville. Also surviving are her parents Lemuel James and wife of New Dover and other relatives.

Parker Taken Back From State Hospital After Escape
Parker, formerly a patient at the State hospital in Columbus, escaped about three weeks ago and returned to his parents’ Delaware avenue home. He grew unruly and threatened his father, prompting Officer Schlegel to place him in the village lock-up. The hospital authorities sent an attendant who took him back on the 4 37 p m train. Earl McCarty of Spurrier's mill reported a Crescent bicycle stolen from his veranda on West Fourth Street last week. Marion Taylor found the bike in a maple street corn shock and notified Marshal Murphy. McCarty described the bicycle. a hobo had stolen it and hid it in the corn after the tire deflated.
