Found Bead in an Old Barn Shocks Third Ward
Residents of the third ward were startled Friday morning by discovery of a dead man in a barn behind a vacant store at the corner of Wirth Street and General Ave. Pred Kuehl, a resident of Fourth Street in Pleasant Hill, was identified. A coroner's jury ruled death from heart disease brought on by excessive drinking and exposure. He leaves a wife and five children, and was interred in Theresa after services. A fire later damaged Klock's butcher shop and nearby Demokrat office, with insured losses and suspicion of origin from a cigar or pipe. Sept. 5. Washing and laundry business ads appear in the text.
