Out of season venison cases heard in Wegener court
On Monday Judge Wegener heard multiple hunting offenses. Krings and Williart of Milladore were fined 23 dollars after pleading guilty to venison possession out of season. Herman Poppe of Richfield paid 25 dollars plus costs for illegal hunting. Two traveling men faced 25 dollar fines and costs for carrying and selling small game. Schmidt paid 25 dollars and costs for selling partridges. Warden Faber disposed of venison to Marsh and Below.

Gas Blast Victimizes Local Family on Fifth Street
Mr and Mrs Frank Eno suffered a startling gas explosion in a coal stove on their Fifth street home last Sunday. The flare blew off the stove top and shattered mica panes as the fire burned low. The couple were not in the room and escaped serious injury. The incident occurred on Mr Eno s 68th birthday.
