Gas Explosion In Chimney At Local Hardware Store
Gas formed in the large chimney of Kliner Lang and Scharmann hardware store causing an 8:30 Monday explosion. The blast blew out chimney stops, sparking a small fire that scorched shelves but caused no further damage. Fire department was not summoned as flames subsided quickly.
