Fred Redepening won a $2000 judgment against the town of Kock after a third chemic court trial over injuries to his son from a defective public highway. The 1963 incident on the Progress wagon left the boy with a broken leg and permanent crippling after a runaway.

Thomas Stack Dies in Wisconsin at 69
Thomas Stack age 69, father of Mrs. D A Kuilans of this city, died in Wausau after kidney trouble. He had retired recently but passed quietly. Funeral held Friday with Dr and Mrs Kuilans in attendance. burial at Merrill. Born in Kerry Ireland, he came to New York at 19, met his future wife, married three years later, then moved to Sparta Isterté Tomah Merrill and finally Wausau. He worked 42 years for the Chicago Milwaukee St Paul Railway, mostly in round houses and last two years as a flagman. Survived by three sons and eight daughters.
