Lutheran Jubilee Celebration Nears Twenty Fifth Anniversary

The Ev Lutheranene Inmanuel congregation marks its twenty fifth anniversary with morning afternoon and evening services next Sunday. A dinner and supper will be served by the ladies aid society in the schoolhouse. program includes selections prayers sermons and choir pieces led by pastors Pankow Denninger and others with a large attendance expected from nearby congregations. Redepening Wins $2000 Verdict Over Damaged Highway

Fred Redepening won a $2000 judgment against the town of Kock after a third chemic court trial over injuries to his son from a defective public highway. The 1963 incident on the Progress wagon left the boy with a broken leg and permanent crippling after a runaway.

Death of Mrs. Amelia Cummings in Marshfield

Mrs Amelia Cummings wife of Frank P Cummings dies after a two week illness at home. funeral 2 p m from Presbyterian church with Rev J F Young officiating. Interment under Degree of Honor rites. Born May 25 1845 in Brothertown Calumet County. Married Oct 18 1871. Survived by husband three children two sisters and three brothers with relatives in several states. Community offers sympathy.

Thomas Stack Dies in Wisconsin at 69

Thomas Stack age 69, father of Mrs. D A Kuilans of this city, died in Wausau after kidney trouble. He had retired recently but passed quietly. Funeral held Friday with Dr and Mrs Kuilans in attendance. burial at Merrill. Born in Kerry Ireland, he came to New York at 19, met his future wife, married three years later, then moved to Sparta Isterté Tomah Merrill and finally Wausau. He worked 42 years for the Chicago Milwaukee St Paul Railway, mostly in round houses and last two years as a flagman. Survived by three sons and eight daughters.
