Infantile paralysis quarantine placed on local home
The three year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph Benning of 400 C street W is ill with infantile paralysis. The home is under quarantine since the illness began last week, authorities report no further cases at this time.

Death of C George in Marshfield Wisconsin
Charles George born in Carnival England December 7 1846 died October 1 1916 at his Marshfield home. He settled in Dodgeville Wisconsin 1869 married Anne Hocken later widowed then married Biddie Reeson moving to South Dakota and later back to Dodgeville and Marshfield. Survived by wife five children two grandchildren and mourned by many friends. Funeral held Friday at 2 10 PM in Dodgeville Presbyterian church conducted by Rev F Halsey Ambrose with music by Mrs R R Williams and Mrs W W McCulloch.
