The Wisconsin Central hauled twenty four cars in two sections through Marshfield on Monday carrying soldiers and horses from Fort Snelling Minnesota. The regulars head to Newport News Virginia for camp and possible deployment to Cuba. They travel with full field equipment and expect active service.
