The Stevens Point Journal reports Miss Gertrude B. Craven daughter of Mr and Mrs L H Craven of St Louis eloped with Geo F LaBour of Grand Rapids Michigan. She left Springfield Illinois Wednesday morning to wed there and the ceremony was conducted by Rev N G Lyons Methodist pastor. The Craven family notes a second elopement within a year. LaBour had lived in Marshfield during the World’s Fair era and later worked as a traveling salesman with Grand Rapids Fixture Co.
