Memorial Day Program Planned by Local Militiamen
The Decoration Day committee has set a full day program with a 3 18 PM procession led by the Second Regiment band and G A R post, followed by city societies, a cemetery ceremony with a prayer by Rev J F P Young and an address by Clare B Bird of Wausau. A male quartet will sing, the band plays America, and flag ceremonies conclude with a seven o clock lowering and band concert.

The home club, despite poor weather, drew a fair crowd and showed powerful hitting with multiple extra base blows including a home run by Revoyr. Mrs J H Morel, aged 44, died after months of illness. Funeral from St John’s church followed by interment in Menasha. Pallbearers named. Survived by husband and two children. State Census To Be Taken In June
Census takers begin about June 20 to conduct the state census. City town and village clerks, under the secretary of state, supervise the process. City clerks appoint assistants. The census will enumerate residents and collect other statistics. Refusal to answer lawful questions may incur a $25 fine.
Ball Game Sunday With Greenwood at Home
The local baseball team will meet the Greenwood nine here next Sunday. Greenwood has a strong battery and has not lost this season, having beaten Colby last Sunday by a wide margin. An excursion train is being arranged to bring a large crowd to the game, which starts at 3 p.m.

LEE SHERRY NUPTIALS IN MARSHFIELD CEREMONY
The marriage of Miss Lillian Sherry to Thomas Lee occurred at 9 50 Tuesday morning at the Catholic parsonage with Rev Fr John Bison officiating. Attendants were Miss Aurelia Ledger and William Lee. An 1130 wedding banquet followed at the bride’s parents home on South Maple Street. The couple plan a home at 511 South Maple after June 1 and will visit Green Lake Berlin Wittenberg and Ripon. Mr. and Mrs. Lee receive best wishes from the community.
