Eastern Star Hosts Everett Delegation in Point Visit

About thirty members of Everett chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star spent Monday in Stevens Point as guests of the local chapter. After arrival by auto they enjoyed a city tour, a fine banquet, and a chapter meeting with Marshfield and New London delegations.

Valuable Horse Killed in Barn Fire Behind Wenzel and Wenzel Shop

A barn behind Wenzel and Wenzel butcher shop burned yesterday afternoon around 3.00. One horse perished, another escaped. Fire destroyed oats and hay. $150 in harnesses and gear. Origin of the fire unknown. quick response limited further loss. Insurance covered all but the horse and grain.

Travel Class Banquet at Hotel Blodgett Honors Members

The Ladies Travel Class held its seventh annual banquet at the Hotel Blodgett with ninety guests. The event featured an elaborate program of after dinner numbers, an orchestra, and an invocation by F. R. Upham. Toast mistress Mrs. P. I. Kraus presided as the program listed various readings, songs, and speeches, followed by a multi course menu including soups, lamb, potatoes, salads, dessert, and cheese.

Harvey Eimerman Injured At Militia Range Accident
