Annual Junior Banquet Delights with Toasts
The annual Junior banquet at the High School transformed the assembly hall into a violet and white banquet setting. Sophomores served the meal under Miss Wood’s guidance as toasts were given by Jas. Hayden and others. The event ended with dancing and praise for the Juniors' planning and the prospect of future larger Senior classes.

Married at Milwaukee Unites Marshfield Couple in Milwauke e
A Milwaukee wedding united Michael Marx son of Mr and Mrs Gerard Marx with Margaret Fisher at St Agnes Catholic Church. Attended by Barbara Marx and Henry Denasles relatives and friends were present. The couple left for a southern trip and plan to reside in Milwaukee where Marx is a city policeman.

Steeple Jack At Work On Oshkosh Spire
The well known Steeple Jack of Oshkosh, with his assistant brother, began repairing the St John’s Catholic church spire damaged by lightning. He performs at 150 feet high, entertaining spectators with jokes and songs. He reshasld the roof and replaced the gold leaf on the cross, a risky task. He earns $400 for the work.

Gun and Game Club to Host May Shoot and Dinner
A clay pigeon shoot and dinner are planned for Sunday May 15 at Orason O'Brian's home one half mile north of Lindsey. About one hundred guests and contestants expected. O'Brian also plans to form the Pur and Feather club to protect and propagate small game, to be organized Sunday. The effort is drawing strong local interest.

Manager Brackendorf completed negotiations with L C Figg of the Cherokee Indian Baseball team for a game Sunday afternoon May 22. The Indians are strong and Brackendorf's Colts are practicing industriously showing fine form. the opening game of the season should be a close contest.

On May 3 at the bride’s home Miss Clara Laschinski became the wife of Harry Clement formerly of Racine now residing in Marshfield. Attendants were Emma Laschinski and Frank Laschinski. A dinner followed for relatives and close friends. The couple will reside in Marshfield for the present.
