McCamley Elected County Supervisor After Illegal Earlier Vote
At a Grand Rapids special meeting the county board chose Peter McCamley as supervisor of assessments, replacing J W Cochran after an earlier election was ruled illegal. McCamley won 28 votes to 8 for Davis and 2 for Gaynor, with Cochran continuing to act during the dispute. Warsinski to Move West from Marshfield Residence
Dr. G A Warsinski, once of Marshfeld now in Hillyard Washington, arrived Friday to dispose of his farm near Richfeld road and other property as he plans to settle permanently in the west. He left for Minneapolis Thursday with land seekers and will locate parties on Washington land. He says he likes the western country and his wife's health has improved since leaving Marshfield.

Competition Shoot At Armory Records Scores

New Drum for the Second Regiment Band
E F Mechler the jeweler and instrument dealer ordered a new base drum for the Second Regiment Band. The Lyons and Healy Chicago drum measures forty inches in diameter, costs about 50 dollars, and is the largest drum the band has owned. Torkild Bille, who composes drum and cymbal music for the band, is pleased though he may need help to transport the oversized instrument.

A night meteorite fragmenting into slate like pieces scattered near the 3rd Street and South Cherry corner, weighing at least twenty five pounds in layered clayy material. August Furstenberg identified the finds as meteorite and noted it could have killed a person if it struck a head.
