Maskers Enjoy An Evening Of Fun New Building A Credit
The Normington Brothers unveiled a modern two story laundry plant with updated machinery. A masquerade by the Married Folks' Dancing club at the Armory drew many in colorful costumes and saw a lively program by the Second Regiment orchestra. A nursemaid, sunbonnet girls, scarecrows, and numerous other disguises entertained, with a basket supper at 11:30 and a forthcoming April 28 dance.

Marshfield chapter D A R held its annual Washington’s Birthday banquet at the guild hall last Tuesday. About 45 attended including members, husbands, and guests from out of town. The event featured a hollow square setup, red white and blue decor, Southern flowers, and remarks on preparedness. Mrs. Ross E. as regent welcomed attendees, with speeches by Mrs. Hume and Mrs. Vedder, and a patriotic program ending with The Star Spangled Banner. Guests included Milwaukee residents and out-of-town delegates.
