Wisconsin Central Freight Agents Visit Marshfield
About fifty three general agents from the Wisconsin Central road will arrive in Marshfield Thursday at 7 25 AM in a special train with several cars. The party, led by James Pond and Fred E Singer, will meet local agents, ride to Waupaca, and learn road operations to boost harmony and traffic handling across the system. Next year the group will tour Duluth Superior terminals as part of educational outreach.

A pretty wedding took place at Waldo on Monday July 22 as Elsie Bartelt daughter of Mr and Mrs William Bartelt became the wife of Francis Johnston. The ceremony was at St John Lutheran Church Waldo with Rev Wilderwood officiating. The bride’s parents long lived near Stratford and moved to Waldo earlier this year. The groom is a prosperous Waldo businessman.
