Marshfield Veneer Plant Aims As Model Modern Facility
The Marshfield site of Roddis Lumber and Veneer, among the world’s largest veneer factories, is a new up to date plant built after the old one burned. W H Roddis and Hamilton Roddis led plans after visiting western mills, creating a model factory with labor saving systems, automatic sprinklers, dust conveyors, independent boiler and engine rooms, and a 84 by 288 foot main three story building. The plant highlights glue rooms and finished veneer panels, with operations extending to mahogany veneers and finishes sold nationwide.

Escape attempt by Rudolph Fulweiler after murder case
