Rust blamed for oat damage not green bug say UW experts
University of Wisconsin agronomists report rust, not the so called green bug, harming oat crops. Extensive field tests show aphids present in many areas but in numbers insufficient to cause the damage. rust blotches and leaf browning explain the poor growth and withering.

Postal Card Face May Be Divided For Writing And Address
An August 1 1907 ruling extends the one side or one third face division rule to ordinary government postal cards. The change alters card fronts to show a left writing area and a right address area, with room for a thin attached sheet if it adheres. Ads or writing may appear on the back and left front. Glass or metal fragments are nonviable unless enclosed in postage paid envelopes or treated to prevent injury. Christensen and Abel plan to move to Marshfield after selling their Brillion store.
