Beell, Marshfield’s famed wrestler, defeated Yankee Rogers of New England in Chicago with a head lock and crotch hold in the first fall and a reversed half Nelson to finish in the second. Rogers, larger and heavier, could not match Beell’s speed and tactic, as Beell defines himself as a perpetual title challenger and champion among champions.
