New Electric System Planned for Marshfield City
Superintendent L Dorschel closed contracts for a complete electric light plant including two belted Corliss engines from Allis-Chalmers, 225 and 100 kilowatt generators, three boilers by Minneapolis Steel, a marble switchboard, heaters and pumps, and 40 new street arc lamps. Completion aimed within 30 days with an engineer supervision. Water works upgrades include 16 new wells and a brick substation, 700 gallon per minute pump, and a $35,000 appropriation with several thousand left over.

Florence Olin Dies in Colorado Nursing Sister
Florence Olin of Richfield died in Pueblo Colorado last Saturday at 1 00 pm after illness. Her parents Mr and Mrs C R Olin were called to her bedside. The funeral at the Presbyterian church was conducted by Rev Joseph Brown assisted by Rev Postlethwaite with a large congregation. Pallbearers included Finney Sexton Gwin Pollard Connor and Heaton. Florence was a longtime nurse known and loved in the community for her devoted service to the sick.
