Young Man Loses Both Legs After Freight Train Accident
Roman Adler, 19, son of Martin Adler, lost both legs Saturday night at the Adler crossing while attempting to ride a Soo Line freight train. He was found by Raymond Byrne and rushed to St Joseph’s Hospital where doctors report he is progressing as well as can be hoped. Adler had worked for Rodis Lumber & Veneer Co.

Mrs J B Haebig of this city learned by telegram that her son Jos Haebig died from a fractured skull after a head injury at West Philadelphia University Hospital. A World War veteran and former blacksmith, he was forty four. Survivors include his mother three sisters and two brothers. The body will be brought here for burial.
