In France three soldiers died. Private Joseph Stangl of this city aged twenty seven died of pneumonia on June 26. Corporal Henry Schels, 33, Co A 27th, died from gunshot wounds November, Henry Schels born here, married to August Leon’s sister. Nick Weigel killed June 1918 contingent. solemn Requiem planned at St John’s Catholic Church. Surviving family noted. Wiegels, Nistor and Chas Wein cited. Funeral plans announced for December 4 and December 5 observances attended by Go. L W S Guards.
