Early morning freight crew on the Wisconsin Central found Elmer Smith of Unity lying unconscious beside the tracks about a mile south of the Bloomer station. He had cuts to the head and body but no broken bones and will likely recover. Smith, about twenty one, was believed to have fallen from freight No. 30 while riding between cars and was unconscious for hours.
