Mr and Mrs Roddis report their daughter Miss Francis and Miss Vera Vollmar will reach Chicago at 3:00 this afternoon and be in Marshfield on the late train tonight. They left New York on Monday, traveled up the Hudson to Albany, and yesterday visited Niagara Falls. Both young ladies are well and eager to return home.

Pleasing Program With Second Regiment Band at Park Concert

Strange Freak of Lightning Kills Valued Horses
During a heavy storm two weeks ago on McMillan road north of town Gust Schilling lost three horses when lightning struck the first, jumped a neighboring mare, and killed the third while the middle horse remained uninjured.
