The Central Wisconsin Trust Company of Madison has declared a first and final dividend of 1 percent for creditors of the bankrupt LaCrosse Cheese and Butter Company. The eight year case involved Madison lawyers suing banks over alleged preferred payments after insolvency. Only about $69,000 in claims filed will receive 1 percent, with litigation exhausting most funds.
