Death of Frederick Andrews Father of Judge R E Andrews
Frederick Andrews 86 died at his Mukwonago home last Sunday. Judge and Mrs. Andrews were at his bedside Friday and attended the funeral Tuesday. A pioneer of Waukesha county, he born in Dover, VI, settled in Mukwonago in 1844, served as town chairman and long served on the county board. Survived by widow, two sons, seven daughters. nephew of Sewall Andrews, early Mukwonago settler.

Injured Engineer John Brofka Hurt In Accident
John Brofka, formerly of this city and now residing in North Fond du Lac, was severely injured last Saturday while oiling a southbound freight engine. While on the side rod, cars struck the engine, pinning him between the rod and footboard, squeezing the abdomen. He was taken home Sunday afternoon. doctors cannot yet confirm internal injuries and a broken rib is possible but bones may be unharmed.

Titanic Sinks After Collision and 1530 Men Drowned
The Titanic, largest ocean liner, struck an ice berg 500 miles from Cape Race and sank in under three hours. About 670 survivors, mostly women and children, were rescued. 1590 others perished.
