Queen Esther Opera Rehearsals Pick Cast for Society

The choral society rehearsals for the Queen Esther opera are teaching lines and five lead roles have been filled. Jessica MacFarlane will play Esther with Mrs. H. F. Beell Defeats Mays in Grand Rapids Bout

Fred Beell of this city defeated Harry Mays of Hamilton Canada in a five fall match at Grand Rapids Tuesday evening. Mays won the first fall in 18 minutes, Beell the second in 22 minutes, Mays the third in 1 minute, Beell the fourth in 8 minutes, and Beell the fifth in 13 minutes to take three falls to two. The bout was clean and interesting and a rematch may be arranged locally.
