New York September 15 The Iron steamship Pegasus with the Sixty Alioth regiment and naval reserve aboard arrived at its dock after four hard nights at sea. Heavy southeast gale and darkness delayed entry to Fire Island inlet forcing a return toward Sandy Hook. The voyage carried about 600 men and the crew faced perilful seas and rough conditions.
